Meet Ms. Monogram 2006!

(Wed., Feb. 15) As most of you know, last night was the gala Monogram Week Grand Banquet and Get Acquainted Dinner Dance, catered by Kroger’s deli counter, featuring live music supplied by Fred “Disco Hands” Martini and his Fat Ass Twisters. A splendid time was had by all.

The highlight of the evening, of course, was the crowning of Ms. Monogram 2006, the embodiment of that special combination of style and sass, frankness and femininity, that makes up today's modern Monogram woman.

Well, the judges deliberated long and hard into the night, and finally reached the conclusion that they’d remained sober long enough. They awarded the tiara, plastic scepter, and bouquet of faux carnations to Ms. Monogram 2006, Jennifer Blaire, known to movie lovers around the world as “Animala” in a film anybody at Monogram would’ve been proud to make, The Lost Skeleton of Cadavra. Ms. Monogram immediately issued the following statement:

"Thanks LG and all supporters of Monogram Week! If I can help create a cult character out of a zippered cat suit, fuzzy booties, Lee Press-on Nails and a bullet bra...well...so can we all. A hearty ROWR to one and all..."

She also sent along the following photos just for her In The Balcony fans, including some lovely shots of her as Droxy Chapelle, bad girl gone worse, in the upcoming Ray Harryhausen Presents production of The Trail of the Screaming Forehead, coming to theatres this fall.

Jennifer will appear in person at all Monogram Studios events in the coming year, if any.
